New Strategies to Grow Your Impact

We are finding that many organizations and coalitions benefit tremendously from the ability to focus and self assess their work.  Groups cannot become truly extraordinary without a different type of accountability: one that holds participants accountable to be reflective about what they are doing and to be abundantly inventive about how and with whom their big dreams can be realized.        

 

SEED has developed a low cost, online evaluation technology and consulting package we call the Six Month Stretch.  Our promise to your team is that you will stretch your organization’s performance to achieve highly valued results within six-months.  

 

We begin a Six-Month Stretch with the SEED Diagnostic.  This is a two-hour workshop that can be done by telephone/internet with your core leadership team, ideally 2-5 people. Larger groups may want to build it into a day retreat.  

 

The SEED Diagnostic guides you to reflect deeply about your current results in relation to your big dream, and identify areas ripe for improvement.  The tools help you to pinpoint where your work can improve the most in six months.  For a look at the SEED Diagnostic, click here. 

 

We next engage the team to devise creative action items for making progress in key leverage areas. 

 

A customized online journal called Journey Tracking is set up for participants to capture highlights and milestones.     

 

Journey Tracking is based on Journey Mapping:  an award-winning, online tracking system that guides users to set clear, measurable metrics, collectively monitor performance, and report progress.  Currently some 50 projects are using Journey Mapping as a stand alone resource.  (Client list here.)   The cost for these applications is $1,500 for an annual license and customized set up.  

 

SEED online evaluation tools allow us to review your team’s input and nudge progress through email, phone and face-to-face interactions.  The tools also help you to generate reports that establish the productivity and success of your programs with current and prospective funding sources.

 

Performance-Based Philanthropy The results of your work, following the initial diagnostic workshop, are captured on a performance score card.  This can be shared with your funders and others who invest in the promise of your work, to see exactly what you are achieving together.  The scorecard illustrates your real time progress in meeting key benchmarks that include reach and depth of impact, innovation, sustainability, life quality and effective strategic partnering.      Click here to see the performance score card for SEED.  Your scorecard can be made visible on your web site for public viewing or password-protected access.   Growing Impact is a $10,000 consultation package that utilizes the Six Month Stretch for organizations, including 50 consulting hours.  Journey Tracking/Mapping applications each cost an additional $1,500.
